The Rabbi’s Touch is being celebrated!

Beginning June 9, The Rabbi’s Touch, my new book, was on a bloggers tour with Celebrate Lit, “a ministry whose goal is to bring great Christian Authors’ work into the hands of readers”. For 16 days the book has been making stops with a variety of bloggers who will read, review and celebrate my new book so that readers, like you, can enjoy it, too. Below you will find the blog review stops. I’ve included a link to the blog and a quote below. The quotes are also shared on Instagram, in a much more artful way!

Update: This tour took place in June 2021.

The Tour – Blog Stops

Stop #14 – Tuesday, June 22 – Truth and Grace Homeschooling Academy – Last Stop on the Book Review Blog Tour!

For the blind, the lame, the possessed and more, Jesus providing a healing touch that jumps to life in the pages of this book…Jesus always had time and energy to do the work of His Father, and this book illustrates that fact. .

Stop #13 – Sunday, June 20 – Mary Hake – A Facebook Review that captured the message of the book – an encounter with Jesus is transforming.

This book retells ten tales of miracles from the Gospel accounts, fictionalizing the narratives to bring them to life. Jesus, the Rabbi, not only touches people’s lives but their hearts too, transforming them in the process.

Stop # 12 – Sunday, June 20 – Simple Harvest Reads – An Interview!

Another interview that shares some of the writing challenges, a life verse and a favourite author of mine.

Stop #11 – Saturday, June 19 – A Modern Day Fairytale

They might be familiar stories, straight out of the gospel but they are told in a fresh, fictional format that really draws the reader in. While I don’t think anyone would argue that Biblical fiction should or could replace reading the Bible, I do think this book makes these stories a little more readable. It offers us the chance to think about the life of those who encountered Jesus along the way and could be a great resource to help draw people in.

A thoughtful and honest review of my book! My prayer is that the reader will be drawn in so that meeting Jesus is what we long for more than anything.

Stop #10 -Friday, June 18 – Connie’s History Classroom

You forget sometimes how people would cry out to Jesus, would rush to him when they were hurting and in desperate need of healing. We in present-day can do it also. Jesus wants us to call out to him when we are hurting.

Stop #9 – Thursday, June 17 – Artistic Nobody

It was my pleasure to share my thoughts in this interview with Artistic Nobody. Click the link above to “listen in” to the conversation.

Stop #8 – Wednesday, June 16 – Locks, Hooks and Books

“I highly recommend it for readers who are looking for more inspiration from the teachings of Jesus and the Gospel. It is most definitely worth a read and so many will find inspiration between the pages.”

If I were to pause here and reflect on the reviews so far, the ones that greatly encourage me greatly are the ones that embrace the heart of the book. Blog Stop #8 does that with warmth. It emboldens me to keep writing about Him and how we can live in His story!
